Needlepoint CD collections
All the designs on the CDs have been designed by me or
created by me using licensed artwork. I enjoy creating and designing
needlepoint patterns and am happy to offer this product to you.
Each CD contains many needlepoint patterns and a pattern
viewer. You will get detailed step by step instructions on how to install
the pattern viewer and to view, modify and print out your charts. I have
also included detailed and step by step instructions for miniature stitching.
I have also included tons of miscellaneous tips and described a few techniques
on how to block and finish your work.
Whilst some
of the designs are for more experienced persons, even a beginner will be able to
find something of interest so as to be given a gentle introduction into the
wondrous realm of miniature needlepoint.
I encourage
you to try needlepoint. There is nothing more creative than having a
fabulously stitched piece of artwork gracing your dollhouse. In fact, a
miniature tapestry is so beautiful, it can be considered on par with a beautiful
painting. But the difference is, with practice anyone can do a miniature
tapestry. So this is your chance to re-create a piece of art and have it
become an heirloom to be treasured for generations to come. Each CD is not just
a collection of patterns, it is an entire lesson in needlepoint.
These designs have been charted to be stitched on #40 silk
gauze. As an alternative you can also stitch these designs on #32, #48 and
#54 silk gauze. All charts have details of stitch count and dimensions of
the finished product so that it is easy for you to plan ahead.
In order to install the software on the CD and view the
patterns, you will need to have a computer which runs Windows®
95/98/NT/Me/2000/XP. This software will not run on any other machine, so
if you have a Macintosh computer, please email
me separately and I will get back to you when I have CD collections capable of running on Macintosh computers. A printer (preferably coloured)
is also required if you would like to print out your charts.
I have CD collections in a number of categories. See the
links below for details on which patterns are on which CD:
